All Ruana knives and the hatchet are made from tough cast aluminum handles with elk antler inserts (unless noted).

Ruana Stickers are very versatile and will work well in a variety of situations. Skinners are a little more specialized in their design, but will work well for almost any job. View the galleries below to show close up photos of all catalog models. NOTE: Photos below are not all on the same scale. Read descriptions below each photo for blade and handle lengths.

Stickers

5AD Drop Point Sticker

Blade: 4”, 1/8” stock. Handle: 4 1⁄2”. Very versatile knife with long handle for larger hands. Great for all around outdoor use on game small and large.

21A Sticker

Blade: 5”, 3/16” stock. Handle: 4 3⁄4”. Same blade as model 12 A, with a comfortable finger grip handle and thumb grooves on top of blade.

25AC Custom Workman

Blade: 6”, 3/16 stock. Handle: 4 1⁄2”. A modified Bowie blade that has been carried for years by members of the U. S. Armed Forces. Works well as a combat and survival knife.

95AD Drop Point Sticker

Blade: 4 1⁄4”, 3/16” stock. Handle: 4 1⁄2”. A flat grind blade that is excellent for hunting and all purpose use. Handle is usually a little more streamlined than other models.

S/H Steelhead

Blade: 3 1⁄2”, 1/8” stock. Handle: 4 1⁄2”. Our unofficial trout and bird knife, but we’ve found that it works well on anything from a 10 inch brook trout to a six point bull elk.

Skinners

6BD Drop Point Skinner

Blade: 4”, 1/8” stock. Handle: 4 1⁄2”. A nice size and shaped hunting blade with a longer handle for larger hands.

10B Skinner

Blade: 3 1⁄2”, 1/8” stock. Handle: 2 3⁄4”. Our most popular knife, recently used by Mike to fully field dress a 6 point bull elk. Referred to by many as the “smokejumper” because of its popularity among those firefighters bearing the same name.

20B Skinner

Blade: 5”, 3/16” stock. Handle: 4 3⁄4”. Same blade as 14 B, with a comfortable fingergrip handle. Thumb notches on top of blade. Knife used on our logo makes it the most recognizable Ruana knife made.

95MP Multi Purpose

Blade: 4 1⁄4”, 3/16” stock. Handle: 4 1⁄2”. A flat grind blade, originally developed for an avid hunter who deemed this blade to be the very best for all

around hunting use. After using it, and seeing its popularity, we agree.

The Ruana Reliable

Blade: 3 1/2” , 1/8” stock. Handle: 4 5/8”. It has a versatile drop point blade shape that makes it useful in a variety of outdoor situations. Thumb notches on the spine for about 1” from the hilt provide a great grip.

VIC'S BLADE

Blade: 4”, 3/16” stock. Handle: 4 1/2”. Vic spent 52+ years making Ruana Knives and in 2017 we honored him with the V.N. Hangas Special knife. There was a limited edition run of these knives originally, and because of it’s popularity, it is now offered as (non-numbered) catalog knife. With Dad passing away in 2019, this particular knife has taken on even more meaning to us now.

Camp Hatchet

The new Ruana Camp Hatchet is a hybrid of our previous hatchet and our 80th Anniversary Collector’s Axe.

Overall lengths of 11 1/4” (slightly longer than our previous hatchet)
Cast aluminum handle is 4 3/4” with elk antler inserts (same handle as previous hatchet)
Stem and bit are one solid pieces of 1/4” 1095 high-carbon steel
Comes with leather sheath shown in photo

Extra length gives it more torque and there are no welds like the previous hatchet so this is stronger and the bit is more versatile. You can slide your hand easily up the stem to the bottom of the bit for more delicate work. In our opinion, this is the best all-around using hatchet we’ve made.
